Barrusclet is a beautiful French farmhouse surrounded by the most wonderful rolling countryside full of sunflowers and vineyards, and available for rental year round.
Situated near Condom in the Midi-Pyrenees, South West France, it sleeps 12-16 people in 5 large bedrooms.
There is a large fenced heated swimming pool, a well equipped games room to keep the children happy, and plenty of outside space to explore.
The tranquillity and closeness to nature here is quite magical. The house is set in its own grounds comprising 40 acres of farmland and French oak woodland.
The locality is rich in history, and there are many pretty medieval villages within easy reach.
The Farmhouse
Barrusclet is a traditional French farmhouse and is extremely spacious.
The rooms have great character with lovely exposed beams and stone walls. They are decorated in keeping with the local style and to a luxurious standard.
With 5 bedrooms Barrusclet can comfortably sleep 12 to 16 people. We have cots and a toddler bed available for young visitors, as well as 2 high chairs and a stair gate.
Bed linen, towels and a welcome pack of essentials are included. Please bring your own pool towels.
The owners stay in a house at the rear of the property when they visit France, and use their own private garden. We maintain the pool area and the extensive grounds for you, and can be on hand to offer other services if required such as babysitting, home-cooking, ‘taxi’ and local knowledge.

The Pool
Barrusclet farmhouse gite has a 12 x 6 metre Roman style heated swimming pool. The pool is within view of the house and sheltered on two sides by stone barns. It has views across open countryside and woodland to the other two sides.
It is a saline pool, which everybody says is kinder to the eyes and skin than a chlorine pool. It is fenced and gated to comply with French regulations.
There is a generous tiled terrace with a gazebo to offer shelter from the midday sun, and plenty of sun loungers.
The swimming pool is for sole use of guests renting the farmhouse and it is really lovely to relax or play in. In this area of South West France the weather is often warm enough to use the pool from April through to October.
